Origin of River

Our founder’s note:

“In less than a year, through my pregnancy and maternity, I have built an accelerator and an ecosystem for Industry 4.0. I mapped the unmet needs of industries, and onboarded startups and innovations from tech transfer offices to address the needs.

Through the journey, I realized the ultra-lean representation of women and. other representative minorities in the industry4.0 space.

Withholding half the world population from access to information and resources; denying them a platform to share their perspectives, ideas; denying them an opportunity to create deeptech ventures, will be detrimental to an inclusive society that is empowered by technology.

Join our global industry 5.0 community

Accelerator

12 months long accelerator programme that includes 2 phases:
1-6 months – Onboarding startups, matching with corporate partners who are problem statement owners, facilitate the startups to build a proof of concept (POC) with the corporate partners and parallelly run masterclasses in business development. This culminates in a grand Demo Day in Singapore.
7-12 months – selected startups from the demo day will be groomed to pilot their POC across different corporate partner sites and also go through an intensive and immersive market access programme which holistically ensures the smart landing of the startups in different geographies.
Support in finding prototype partners, mentors, advsiors, industry partners for proof of concept, to become potential customers, fund raising and more.

Startup studio

A full-stack and multi-country startup studio that supports women and minorities led industry 5.0 ventures from ideation and prototyping through commercialisation all the way to exit.
A makerspace/studio to help ideas become innovative startups with new IPs generated.
